The accessibility requirements for products and services are set out in Italian Legislative Decree No. 82/2022, which transposed EU Directive 2019/882.

Services are considered accessible when they can be provided, and the related information can be accessed, without discrimination, including by people who, due to a disability, require assistive technologies or specific configurations.

We are committed to making the website accessible and inclusive, ensuring that it can be used by everyone. To this end, we comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, achieving conformance level AA, so that our services can be used by all users.

More specifically, these Guidelines are based on four fundamental principles:

• Perceivable
  We are committed to ensuring that all informative images have alternative text so that their content can be read aloud by screen readers. When designing our user interfaces, we pay attention to providing sufficient colour contrast to improve readability. Information and controls are presented in a way that can be perceived by users.

• Operable
  Our interactive elements, such as forms and navigation menus, can be used almost entirely via keyboard.

• Understandable
  We use clear language to describe our products and services. Our navigation is structured in a clear and intuitive manner.

• Robust
  The website has been developed mainly using standardised components that have been optimised for accessibility and tested. During the development process, we apply testing criteria based on the WCAG guidelines to ensure compatibility with different browsers and assistive technologies. We regularly test the website to ensure that all functions remain operable and understandable.

Description of the Service

The service was created using the following technologies:

• JavaScript technology

The website allows users to browse the Alanui product offering through the various sections and categories available.

Products can be searched using the navigation and search tools made available on the website.

Each product is described through textual content, images and other informative elements useful to the user in making a choice.

If a user wishes to purchase a product, it can be selected and added to the shopping cart.

During the purchasing process, users can review and modify the products added to the shopping cart.

To complete the order, users must provide the required shipping information and select one of the available payment methods.

After the purchase, users can access information relating to their order through the functions made available on the website.

Where provided for under the applicable conditions, users may also initiate a return procedure by following the instructions and using the tools available on the website.

Compliance Status

This accessibility information was last updated on 7 August 2026.

The website has undergone a preliminary technical assessment using automated tools and internal manual testing and is currently partially compliant with the accessibility requirements set out in WCAG 2.1, conformance level AA.

The website owner has initiated a structured accessibility review and remediation process with the support of specialised partners. The required updates have already been planned and assigned to the appointed technical partners, under the operational coordination of our internal and external digital teams.

The remediation plan includes a complete review of the website, periodic reviews of its templates, the correction of the main barriers to access and the systematic adoption of the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria.

As required by applicable legislation, the website owner has implemented, together with the aforementioned technical partners, an ongoing accessibility monitoring system that includes periodic external audits and technical checks following every significant release. This process demonstrates the company’s commitment to progressively improving the accessibility of its digital offering in accordance with the principles of inclusion and non-discrimination.

Assessment and Validation Tools and Methodology

The analysis was carried out on the main representative pages of the website, including the homepage, listings, product detail pages, checkout, customer account area, search functions, forms and editorial content.

The analysis was initially carried out using online tools including WAVE – Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool; Google Lighthouse through Chrome DevTools; axe DevTools by Deque Systems; Silktide; Get-Equo; and Webeyes for code scanning and navigation simulation.

Manual checks were carried out by human testers and included, by way of example and without limitation, checking for the presence and playback of audio and video content, checking for subtitles and/or audio descriptions, reviewing the clarity of informative instructions, and verifying that text is presented as actual text rather than as an image. Where text is presented as an image, testers checked that the corresponding text was included in the image’s alternative text.

The manual checks also covered content reflow following zooming, changes in contrast and content when hovering with a pointer, error suggestions and other relevant aspects.

Description of How the Service Meets the Relevant Accessibility Requirements

Currently, the service meets the accessibility requirements set out in Italian Legislative Decree 82/2022 to a significant extent, particularly with regard to:

• the presence of a hierarchical heading structure, from H1 to H6, which is largely consistent across institutional pages;

• keyboard accessibility of basic static components, including menus, text links and primary buttons;

• the accessibility of basic fields in contact and newsletter forms, characterised by good readability;

• the presence of sufficient contrast for the main headings and paragraphs displayed on a white background;

• basic compatibility with screen readers on static institutional pages;

• the use of semantic structures and standard components compatible with assistive technologies;

• a generally hierarchical and linear content structure, designed to facilitate reading through screen readers;

• the partial adoption of WCAG 2.1 principles, level AA, with particular attention to perceivability, operability and understandability.

Some requirements are still in the process of being implemented, particularly those relating to:

• the correct assignment of valid values to ARIA attributes, in accordance with the relevant specifications, so that assistive technologies can correctly interpret and communicate the roles, states and properties of interface elements;

• the presence of descriptive alternative text for all informative images and other significant non-text content;

• the presence of clear and descriptive text or accessible names for all links, so that the purpose of each link can also be correctly understood through assistive technologies;

• compliance with the minimum contrast ratios between text, images of text and backgrounds;

• improving screen reader compatibility for certain graphic and interactive elements;

• the full accessibility of downloadable PDF documents available on the website.

The issues indicated have been identified on multiple pages of the website, as some of them concern shared components and templates used in different sections.

To address these requirements, a technical remediation process has been initiated and entrusted to a multidisciplinary team composed of frontend developers, external accessibility specialists and digital content reviewers. The work includes aligning the code with the specifications of the harmonised EN 301 549 standard and WCAG 2.1 level AA, in accordance with Article 12 of the Decree.

The website will be monitored periodically, including with the support of external audits, to ensure full compliance with the applicable requirements and the continuous improvement of the access experience for all people, with or without disabilities.

Exemptions Due to Disproportionate Burden

To date, no exemptions due to disproportionate burden have been invoked or identified pursuant to Article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 82/2022.

However, the website may also contain third-party tools, software, content or components that may not be fully accessible and that have neither been developed by nor are under the complete control of the website owner.
